A.I Tools For The Classroom Webinar

Due to popular demand the ‘A.I. Tools for the Classroom’ webinar from December is now being run in January. See details below:

Live on 17th January at 15:30 – Click Here to Register

We’ll be stripping AI back to its basics for teachers of all confidence levels. This is for you if you want to understand:

  1. more about AI tools in general
  2. how they can help you right now in the classroom
  3. how they can reduce teacher workload
  4. how AI can provide exciting learning opportunities for students

A.I. is a vast topic, so we are starting with a few basic tips and tricks that everyone will be able to take away and use.

Just the basics of A.I. can save you time and support your students in-class and at-home

We’ll focus on some familiar, core apps like Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Scribble Diffusion, Quick Draw, Wakelet, and Canva.

We’ll look at their key features, run a demo lesson and (of course) answer any questions you might have!

‘Buy Now, Pay Later’ for Student Digital Learning Programme

To support schools while you’re waiting for the ICT Grant to arrive, AVITUC and our partners at Olus Education are offering full access for your students to the Olus Education digital learning programme on a ‘Buy Now, Pay Later’ basis – so you don’t pay anything until the ICT grant arrives but you can get started right away! The programme is fully aligned to the Digital Learning Framework, includes planning and training for teachers and is differentiated for students.

Whether you were successful with the STEM grant application or not, we can help! Together with our partners at Olus Education we can provide a student-led digital learning programme, AND if you are waiting for funding to arrive you can still get it straight away and pay when the funding arrives. Click here to hear from a school that is currently using Olus.

Digital Learning Advantages

In your school, computers for students can:

  1. Raise academic performance by up to 23% above the national average
  2. Raise staff satisfaction levels above national benchmarks by up to 20%
  3. Improve attendance!

This is according to a new report from Dr Aubrey-Smith revealed at Google HQ just before the Christmas holidays. Though the study involved 1:1 devices, it’s a clear indicator of where schools can start to move toward right now when devices are used effectively across the school – click here for more details from the report.

Whatever your schools IT requirements, here at Avituc we have got you covered. Contact us today and lets get you all set up!
